Dr. Götz G. Wehberg is an industry executive and investor, sponsoring the Digital Supply Institute as a Tech & Investment company. Götz has founded the DSI originally as a think tank in 1997.
Götz is an experienced leader and digital transformation officer with a demonstrated history of working in various industries (Health Care, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Process) across different geographies. Götz is leading large-scale global organizations, developing new capabilities and delivering outcomes, while maintaining the ability to overcome hurdles and think out of the box.
Götz´ fields of expertise are Smart Operations, IT enabled Business Transformation and M&A. His street credits include working with Bayer, BMW, Cardinal Health, E.ON, Evonik, Fresenius and Siemens amongst others. For Fresenius for example, Götz has been sponsoring the Group IT Transformation as Corporate SVP and Deputy CIO, including both coping with the legacy IT as well as developing future, data based business models. Prior to Fresenius, Götz has been a Senior Partner at a Global Consulting Firm like Deloitte for more than ten years.
Götz is an author of a number of books such as „Digital Supply Chains - Key Facilitator to Industry 4.0 and New Business Models“ (3rd edition, Taylor & Francis) as well as "The Triple Long Tail Strategy: Digitalization and individualization as a competitive weapon" (Deloitte).
Götz is internationally experienced from working in global businesses as well as from living 1.5 years in the Americas and 4 years in the Middle East. Götz is married for more than 20 years, has two sons, and is living in Greater Cologne / Germany.
